As a registered Not For Profit B.C. Society, we strive to provide comfort to Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. The RMQG is very active in community service. Our membership generously donates their quilts and other items to:
Quilts of Comfort
In partnership with MR/PM Community Services. Our members donate all sizes of quilts.
Baby, wheelchair, lap, twin and up to queen size HUGS.
MR/PM Community Services, in turn, gifts these quilts to people in need via their In House Programs, RCMP, EMS, Fire, and Alicia’s Wish.
Meals on Wheels
Place mat are sent out with meals to new clients, and for special occasions. 100’s are donated annually.
Cardiac Heart Pillows
Stitched, stuffed and donated to the Cardiac Surgery Unit of Royal Columbian Hospital.
A long standing Guild member was a nurse in the Cardiac Unit and has carried on this tradition for years.
Fraser Health Best Beginnings (0-2 yrs)
Quilters provide comforting baby care needs to our local nurse outreach programs to support new parents.
