In 2024, we have resumed in person sew days that happen approximately once a month. We have found a lovely space in Maple Ridge at the Albion Rec Center that is bright and can take up to 26 members. This day is brought to you by our Program committee. They may have a project to teach which they will give you details on (cost, pattern, supplies) or you can just join in on the group fun with your own projects. Dates and times will be on our calendar and cost is $10.00 to attend – if there is a lesson, additional costs will apply. Typical attendance times are from 10:30 to 4:30.
There is also an opportunity to sew on Thursdays, once or twice a month, at a smaller venue at Fraserview Fireside Room. There is comfortable seating for 6 people to do handwork as well as up to 8 people with sewing machines in this space. This is organized by Maureen McEwen and cost runs around $5-$10 depending on attendance. Typical attendance times are from 9:30 to 4pm.

Update: Zoom sewing days are Saturday mornings from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Dates will be listed on our website calendar and newsletter. Guild members will receive an emailed zoom link.
Zoom sewing days typically have 15-25 people attending and the program committee has been organizing one sew along each month; work on your own project if that’s month’s sew along doesn’t interest you. Details will be emailed to guild members with the project requirements.
