About

In the early 1980’s a few ladies with a love of quilting & great camaraderie formed the Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Guild.   From the early days, the Guild has grown to a membership of 60+.

Our goal is to provide an organization that will encourage its members to share in the art of quilting within a social atmosphere, sharing the love of quilting. We promote quilting techniques in various ways through workshops, demonstrations, trunk shows & guest speakers.

Acting as a Non-Profit group, our members are voted into volunteer positions once a year at our AGM in May. Positions include being part of our Executive or heading one of the Committees from the months of September to June.

The Guild has a mandate to contribute to the community with their quilting knowledge. We work together to give back to our community through exhibitions, with funds earned by selling Raffle Quilt tickets & cooperatively making quilts/items for charitable donations in the our community.
