In the early 1980’s a few ladies with a love of quilting & great camaraderie formed the Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Guild. From the early days, the Guild has grown to a membership of 55.
Our primary goal is to provide an organization that will encourage its members to share the art of quilting in a social atmosphere, sharing in the love of quilting and quilting techniques in various ways such as workshops, demonstrations, trunk shows & guest speakers.
Acting as a Non-Profit group, run with volunteers, once a year in May, members are voted into the positions either on the Executive or heading one of the Committees from the months of September to June.
The Guild has a mandate to contribute to the community with their quilting knowledge and work by ways of displays, quilt shows & cooperatively making quilts for charitable donations.
