About

In the early 1980’s a few ladies with a love of quilting & great camaraderie formed the Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Guild.   From the early days, the Guild has grown to a membership of 60+.

Our goal is to provide an organization that will encourage its members to share in the art of quilting within a social atmosphere, sharing the love of quilting. We promote quilting techniques in various ways through workshops, demonstrations, trunk shows & guest speakers.

Acting as a Non-Profit group, our members are voted into volunteer positions once a year at our AGM in May. Positions include being part of our Executive or heading one of the Committees from the months of September to June.

The Guild has a mandate to contribute to the community with their quilting knowledge. We work together to give back to our community through exhibitions, Community Quilts which go to Ridge Meadows Community services and PopUp Displays featuring our quilts / guild with a boutique to earn money for future guild experiences.
